Pillow Box

Good Morning!  Today will be my final Post for Dr. Phil Scraps.  I want to say Thank you so much to Dr. Phil for the opportunity to be part of his team I have really enjoyed it.  I am looking forward to seeing what the next team has to inspire everyone.

For my last project I made a pillow box using the Tommy Paper Packet and the Tommy Compliments.  This was super easy!!  What a fun way to give a gift to someone.  I used the We are Memory Keepers Pillow Box Punch Board to make mine but I am pretty sure that there is a cut on one of the cricut cartridges.  After assembling my pillow box I decorated it using the Canvas Compliments.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and Merry Christmas Everyone!

Bookmarks

Good morning!  I am back today sharing a fun project and a fun gift for those of us who love to read or know someone who loves to read.

I made these bookmarks using the Tommy Paper Pack, Sail Away stamp set and the Tommy Complements.  They are so easy to make I just die cut the book mark and then embellished with the stamps and complements.  Thanks for stopping by today.

You are my Anchor

Good Morning!  I am sharing a card today that was made using some Close to my Heart products.

I used the Tommy Paper Packet, the Sail Away stamp set and the Tommy Complements Canvas Shapes on this fun card.  I started by punching a circle out of my pattern paper mat layer and then stamping and heat embossing the image inside of the circle on my card base.  I then wrapped my mat layer with some twine and added  a canvas star.  I popped the mat layer up using foam tape.  This is a super fun and easy card to make.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Gift tags

Good Morning!  Today I am sharing a cute way to dress up your gift packaging.

I used the Remarkable Wreath Stamp set for this cute tag.  This stamp set is so fun and can be used year round for all of your cards and tags.  I started by die cutting my tag and then I stamped the wreath brown ink followed by the berries with red ink.  Lastly I stamped the 4 you banner with gold ink and clear heat embossed over it for fun finish.  Thanks for stopping by today!

November 26

Hello, happy Tuesday!  I am back with one last project using the Frosted Workshop on the Go Kit.  I have a layout of my kids while they were visiting Santa last year.

I just love the pattern papers in this kit especially this snowflake, it is so pretty.  I stitched the pattern paper to a solid cardstock background.  I dropped some gold mist on the paper added a doily.  I also heat embossed the family banner from the stamp set with gold embossing powder, here is a closer look.

I just love the way this layout turned out!  I hope you have enjoyed this months projects, I know I enjoyed making them:)

November 19

Hello!  I back today with another project made using the Frosted Workshop on the Go Kit.  The stamp set included in this kit is fabulous, I love it!  I made a card using the stamps.

I stamped and heat embossed the snowflake images in the set with sparkle embossing powder on one of the solid cardstock sheets that come in the kit.  I trimmed it and backed it with some glitter tape and then adhered it to my card base.  Then I heat embossed the sentiment strip with red embossing powder and trimmed that out and adhered it to the card with foam tape.  I punched heart and a few gems finish the card nicely:)  I hope you enjoyed the card today and I will be back next week with a layout!

Happy Tuesday!  I am back with a card to share with  you today.  This card used paper from the Frosted Workshop on the Go Kit and stamps from Remarkable Wreath (really love this stamp set)!

I stamped the wreath in brown ink and the leaves in a rust color.  I then used the berries image and stamped that in gold.  I really love this wreath:)  I gotta say the Frosted paper is so versatile it can be used for fall and winter season. Thanks for stopping by today!

November 5

Good Morning!  I am sharing some projects this month that have been made with the Close to My Heart Frosted Workshop on the Go Kit.  For my first project I made a holiday mailbox.

I got to say this was so fun to make!  I started with one of the mailboxes that you can purchase at target in the dollar spot section at the front of the store, they usually have them around Valentines Day.  I covered the mailbox with pattern paper from the kit and then covered the lid with a solid paper from the kit.  I stamped and heat embossed the wreath from the stamp set in the kit on the front.  The bling that is along the side of the mailbox is also from the kit.  For the base of my mailbox I painted and glittered a wood square that I picked up at my local craft store and a toilet paper roll.  Super easy and fun:)  I will be back next week with another project made with supplies from this kit.

October 29

I am back for one last Laughing Lola Workshop on the Go post.  I found a picture of my kids on Halloween from a couple of years ago and  made a Halloween layout using the Laughing Lola Kit and the Artbooking Cartridge.

There is a Web background on the Artbooking Cartridge that was perfect for my Layout.  The Trick or Treat was cut using a different Halloween cartridge but the sentiment went so well with the web that I couldn't resist using it.  So will you be scrapbooking any Halloween celebrations this year?  If so make sure and leave me a link so I can stop by and check them out:)

Ocober 22

Hello!  I back today with another project using the Laughing Lola Workshop on the go kit

I made a home decor banner for you today.  I die cut the pennants from a die that I have in my supply stash as well as the pinked circles.  The boo and birds were cut using the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.  After I cut the boo and Birds I ran them through my create a sticker machine and covered them with glitter.  It is so sparkly in person!  Here is a closer look at some of the details.

I also sprinkle a little color shine on my banner for a fun distressed look.  Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope I have inspired you to create some Halloween Home Decor.

October 15

I am back today with another project using the Laughing Lola Workshop on the go kit.  With Halloween just a few weeks away here is a fun idea for some treats.

Once again I used some of the plaid pattern paper (really love this) to make a sour cream container.  I tied a bow to the top with the hemp that comes in this kit then I used a stamp from my collection, punched it out and adhered it to the sour cream treat container with a clothespin that I covered with glitter.  That's all for today:)

Work Hard, Play Hard

Hello!  I am back sharing another Artbooking project with you today.  This time it is a card.

I cut the overlay found on page 40 in the handbook and adhered some Proplayer pattern paper behind some of the circle openings and then adhered it to my card base with foam adhesive.  I stamped the sentiment from All the detail stamp set and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and fussy cut it out then adhered it to my card.  Last I cut the football on page 83 of the Artbooking cartridge handbook and added it to my card.  Here is a look at the stamp set i used, it's a great one!

Ready for some Football

Hello!  I am back to share another layout that was made the the Cricut Artbooking cartridge.  I used the cuts on pages 82 and 83 of the handbook.  My oldest son is a freshman in High School this year, YIKES!  He is also playing football so I have a layout that is all ready and just needs a photo.
I just love the overlays found on this cartridge, you can use them for layouts or you could use them as stencils there are so many possibilities!  I decided to highlight a few of the openings by tucking some pattern paper from the Proplayer paper pack behind them.  That's all for now, Dr Phil Scraps is having a giveaway this month the details are below.

Confidential

Good Morning!  I am back today with another Artbooking project for you.  I made a Confidential Mini-Album or notebook with the cuts on pages 42 and 43 in the cartridge handbook.  Here is a look at the cover.

I used the Proplayer Paper Packet for this album as well as the All The Details stamp set.  Here is a look at the stamp set.

Here is the next page in the album

I left the one side open to add a photo or a memento of sorts and then added a pocket to the right hand side and stamped a border along the bottom.
Next are some folder pages for storage and I decided to add a fun detail to the top right hand corner with another pattern paper and the branding strip found on it.
and last we have a fun tag pocket or it could hold a gift card.  So I hope I have inspired you to get creating with the new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge!  Dr Phil Scraps is offering up a giveaway this month, details are below.
