PS SPARKS trend watch

Today I am sharing a card I made to enter into a few challenges.  First challenge is PS Sparks- Anything goes, the second is SSS Challenge and finally the Moxie Fab World Challenge.  So I ordered a couple of stamp sets and dies from Paper Smooches that I have been eyeballing for a while now and made this card.

 

It is kinda hard to tell but the sentiment is actually embossed with gold embossing powder and in person it looks amazing!  I really LOVE this card:)  I embossed the card base with a canvas impression plate and the paint on my palette is from a gradient paper in the Dear Lizzy "Lucky Charm" collection.  So I would love to hear what you think!  Thanks for stopping by.

Live, laugh and love

I recently got some stamps from Technique Tuesday that I just love!  For years now my favorite saying has been Live, Laugh, Love.  The perfect words for how I like to live my life.  So for today's card I have used my new stamps as well as the rose image for Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit and some watercolor Crayons.  Here is my card.

 

 

I used my crayons and some water to paint the background dark to light and then I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.  I also embossed the rose and leaves on vellum and then painted them in with the watercolor crayons, fussy cut them and adhered them to my card.  The card is really stunning in person, the photo really doesn't do it justice.  I am linking this card up to two challenges, The Wonder of Watercolor in the Moxie Fab World and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge.

Make it Monday: Perfect Pearls

Good Afternoon!  I had so much fun this morning getting out some perfect pearls to participate in this challenge.  I have had perfect pearls in my craft room for a while now and have really never used them!  I did not realize that they would so great on dark cardstock!  Here is my card.

 

It is a little gloomy here today so my picture is a little dark but the chicken wire is a background mask I used with colorshine.  The star I die cut from some printed paper that I made myself with the gradient feature of my silhouette and the skateboard is the done with perfect pearls!  I used three colors a green, turquoise and blue.  So what do you think?  I really love it and now I have a card on hand that is perfect for one of my sons friends:)

Avery Elle April Challenge

Hi!  It has been a while since I posted here.  I have a card to share with you today that  I made for this challenge.

 

 

I only have a couple Avery Elle stamp sets so I had to get creative with what I had and it was either hanging anchors or heart so I went for the hearts!  I stamped them each a different color and then used a ruler and shimmer gel pen to draw the string they are hanging from.  The sentiment I just adore:)  Thanks for stopping!!

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge

Hello!  I am popping in to post a card that I have made for the PS Sparks challenge this week.

 

 

I just love this card.  I was playing around with my Silhouette software and the fill feature today and learned that I can fill my shapes with  gradient color!!  I have a whole new reason to love my Silhouette:)  For this card I used three different PS stamp sets, Sentiment Sampler, Whirligigs, and Folkal points.  I heat embossed the image from Whirligigs with gold embossing powder.  I am really loving this color combo.  So I am dying to know what you think, please comment and let me know:)

Another Birthday card...

Good Morning!  Today I am sharing a card that I have made for my daughter.  She will be turning 12 on Thursday, where did the time go?!! 

 

The background stamp is from Hero Arts and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp April Card kit.  The stars on the card are silver confetti stars from Michaels.  I am linking this card up with the Simon Says Stamp Challenge.

A Birthday Card

Hello and Happy Friday!!  Today I am sharing a card that I made for a friend of my youngest son who is turning 9.  They both love video games:)
