Girl Friday Mystery Reveal Blog Hop

Welcome to The Girl Friday Mystery Reveal Blog Hop!
12 amazingly talented designers are joining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Team! We have been sworn to secrecy for the past few months, and today we finally get to spill our beans!

I'm a Girl Friday!!!!

Can you tell how excited I am?!  So I made a card to share how excited I am to be part of this amazing team.  I used the super fun Exclamations stamp set for this card.

We could just make a regular old team announcement, but that wouldn't be nearly as fun as a mystery blog hop filled with awesome creative inspiration, clues and prizes...would it?
To join the fun, you'll need to start at the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog where you will be given the link to meet the first Girl Friday and collect your first clue. Then continue through our mystery blog hop, meeting the team, gathering clues and leaving comments along the way for your chance to win prizes!
Yes, prizes!!
Each new Girl Friday has a prize up for grabs!
At the last stop on the hop, you'll have one more chance to win a prize by using the clues you've gathered to solve the mystery. The hop ends at noon on December 27th.

Make sure you leave a comment on this blog post for your chance to win a $15 gift certificate to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!
My clue for you is...

And your next stop on this mystery hop is the fabulous...

2014 WCMD Winners Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to the first stop on the 2014 World Card Making Day Winners Blog Hop.

Last month I was so Surprised when I got an email from Paper Crafts and Scrapbooking Magazine saying that I was one of the 2014 World Card Making Day Winners!  Surprised, honored and oh so happy!   With the closing of the Magazine our winning cards will not be published so we are having a blog hop and sharing our cards with you!  I snapped a quick not very good photo of my card before I sent it in ...

I letter pressed the Happy Birthday sentiment with a WRMK letterpress plate and then sewed the bubble transparency to the letterpress paper.  I then adhered it to the card base with foam tape and presto there you have it!  I want to say Thank you to Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine for everything, I sure am going to miss this publication.

The hop starts at the Paper Crafts Connection Blog

Your next stop on the hop is the amazing ...

Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine Special Thanks! Blog Hop

Good Morning!  Today I am going to take a minute to Say Thank you to Paper Crafts and Scrapbooking Magazine for everything that they have brought into my life.  This magazine has inspired me and taught me so much.  I think I submitted to this magazine for almost a year before I was ever picked up for publication and then when I got that magical email I had 3 projects picked up!!  I screamed so loud that all three of my kids came running in the room wondering what in the world was wrong with me, LOL.  I still have every acceptance email saved on my computer. Words really can't express how grateful I am for all of the experiences I have been lucky enough to have because of this magazine and I am really going to miss all of you.  I wish you all nothing but the best.

So I did make a card to share...

Some exciting news!!

So have you visited the Paper crafts and Scrapbooking Magazine blog lately?  They started announcing the 2014 WCMD winners...I was one one of them!!!   I was absolutely thrilled and honored when I opened that email saying that I won in the Birthday category.

So I thought I would also share one last card that I made last month for my Paper Smooches guest designer spot.
I just adore that sentiment!   Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Smooches card shares

I was so excited when I learned I would be Guest designing for Paper Smooches in October!!!  This post is a little late, so sorry about that life has been a little busy... So I am going to share 3 of the projects that I made for the month and I will be back later with the remaining.

Cute right?!  I absolutely LOVE the dies and stamp set that were released this month and I had so much fun playing with them!  I used the inlaid technique on the second card shown above, I just love that technique.

Well that is all for today, thanks so much for stopping by!

Fall is almost here...

I currently live in Louisiana and the summers are hot and  muggy which is not my favorite...  I really look forward to fall and cooler temps!  So I made a fall inspired card to enter into the PS October Guest designer search.

I got these fun leaf dies last year and realized I hadn't used them yet...  Don't they make the cutest shaker card?!  Here is hoping fall comes soon:)

A little card share and some thoughts...

I have a card to share today that I made for my grandmother and I am entering it into the pool for this weeks Simon Says Stamp Challenge Anything Goes!

I used the SSS June card kit stamp set for this one.  I just LOVE this stamp set.  I also really love the overall card design but... have you ever made a card and then looked at it and weren't completely happy with a few things about it but didn't want to start all over!?  That is the case with this one.  So rather than redo it I am just going to tell you what I would change, Lol.  First is the color that I stamped those leaves and the outline of them, its just not quite right..  Second is the sentiment, I love it but it blends to much with the background it doesn't stand out, however I would still want it black so I am thinking I should have heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  What do you think?  Enough of my rambling for today, thanks so much for stopping by!

I made a card!

Hello everyone!  I finally had some time to sit down and just make something.  So I decided to play along with the AE Challenge.

The challenge was to make Pattern Paper, (I don't have the graphic from the website due to the fact that my computer is acting up).  I used AE pigment ink in Mint to be, Fog and Orchid and I used the Build a Banner and Bottle it Up stamp sets.  Can I just say I LOVE these inks!  They are amazing:)  Well that is all for today...
