Hello Everyone! I am so excited that I am Guest Designing over on the Peachy Keen Blog this week! This is my first time Guest Designing so I am quite a bit nervous!! Here is a picture of today project.
Hello! I am so happy it is Friday! I have plans to go painting with a twist tonight and I am so excited!! We are suppose to be painting two cute owls in a tree and let me say that I cannot draw to save my life and so I really hope that they give you a drawn sketch to paint or I am afraid that I could end up with something other than owls:) Every year my kids ask if we are going to decorate for Halloween and every year we put out pumpkins and a few small decorations around the house but apparently they want more decorations! I figure by the time they are ready to move out I might have it down but in the meantime we collect a few new decorations every year to add to the existing collection. This year we added a skeleton that is coming out of the ground for the front lawn along with some ghosts for the tree (which the new puppy has already gotten hold of one of them, who knew he jump that high). I also found this fun paper mache witch's hat at my local craft store and decided to decorate it.
I think it turned out pretty well! Here is a photo of my entry way this year we are hoping to add a few more spooky items to it next year.
This is a photo card I made for my Mother in Laws birthday. It is hard to see in the photo but she is the person at the very top of the tree!! We are currently stationed in Louisiana so we don't live near any of our relatives right now. I know she is probably missing her grand kids like crazy and will love seeing this picture of herself with them.
Good Afternoon!! Well I am suppose to be cleaning my house today (I love a clean house I just hate cleaning it!), I decided to procrastinate a little bit and make a card for this weeks challenge. The theme for the week is making your own washi tape!! I love Washi tape, I don't own that many so the tutorial showing me how I could make my own made my day! Here is my card.
The picture isn't the best today, so sorry! I used a light pink tissue paper and a aqua ink to stamp polka dots. If you want to learn how to make your own tape and play along this week click here.
Well I had a busy day yesterday! Not only did I manage to make some cards I also attended a art festival with my family! So any who here is a card that I am going to link up to the Market Street stamps Block Party. If you want to participate make sure you do so by the end of today:) Just click here to check it out.
