PTI October 2010 Blog Hop

Hello everyone! The theme for this month: There is always a lot of focus on Christmas in our industry this time of year, as that is what the majority of the population celebrates. However, this month's blog hop is dedicated to those that celebrate winter holidays other than Christmas. Create a project that celebrates Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or some other winter holiday as we embrace everyone's beliefs in a celebration of diversity through paper crafting.

Here is just a quick and simple card I made so could play along. Have a great day!

Cricut Circle Challenge #4: BOO!

Hello everyone!! This is my take on this weeks challenge! My two cuts are the circle and the haunted house. I also used my gypsy to hide the contours on the windows and then cut that out with some yellow vellum to go behind my house. The pattern paper is from Making Memories and Stampin up. 2 challenges 1 post!

Today's project was done for 2 different challenges. They both had a fall theme so I decided to combine them! The Cricut Circle Challenge #3, Autumn Splendor color challenge and the Peachy Keen faces Challenge; Fall decor. I painted a the wood a sand color and added the Indian girl stamped with the adorable Peachy Keen face stamp and a sentiment from lawn fawn stamps, along with some leaves cut from A Child's year and then embossed with the Swiss dots folder. Have a great day!

Decor to Make the Season Bright Challenge in the Moxie Fab World

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great WCMD!! I am finally getting a few things on my "to do" list done today. Here is my holiday home decor item. I painted a plain frame I bought my Lss black, covered it with a pattern paper that I love and added a title. The last step was to use Modge Podge to seal it all together. Now I have a great frame ready to display our family photo with Santa this year! If you want to play along here is the link http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2010/09/holiday-cards-more-week-decor-to-make.html.

Have a great day!!
