This weeks challenge was to make a gatefold card and use one of your favoite embossing folders. This challenge was a blast and I am happy with how my card turned out. Some of my supplies are PTI cardstock, Coredinations cardstock, PTI on my couch stamp set (love, love, love), Cuttlebug Distress stripes embossing folder and a fiskars border punch.

Well I was able to complete all four challenges this month! This one was the hardest for me because I had no idea what to do and the more I thought about it the harder it was! Now that I am done a million ideas come to mind, it figures! I took a kids craft frame and painted it, I embossed the background paper and then stamped my image and the sentiment on the frame. I am not in love with this project, but I wanted to paricipate in this challenge and I was really stumped!

So this is my first time participating in the PTI Bloghop! I am very excited, this should be fun. For my card I used the kraft and berry sorbet cardstock, some patterned script paper from Paper Pizazz. I used the Butterfly Kisses stamp set for the butterfly and sentiment. I embossed some butterflies and a stamp from SU Many happy returns stamp set. I am new to cardmaking and hopefully with time and practice I will get better!

I bought a stamp set from PTI with flip flops in it and decided to make a card with a different pair of flip flops for each day of the week! The flip flop and saying are from PTI, the days of the week are from a inkadoo stamp set, the paper and ribbon are also from PTI. I would love to hear your comments!

So I am new to this whole blog thing and I am also new to card making. I have been scrapbooking for a while although I took a few years off after having my 3rd child. I recently bought a cricut and cuttlebug and am having so much fun with that, and of course after getting back into crafting I became interested in stamping as well ( it is like coloring for adults)! So here is my card for the Peach Keen Challenge 2. I am having so much fun participating in these challenges and I am hoping to get better with practice!
