Newton's Nook Designs Release Day 1

Hello!  I am so excited to be guest designing this month for Newton's Nook Designs.  The April release is fabulous and I am having so much fun creating with these stamps!  For today I have made a Mothers Day card but this set can be used for so many other occasions.

I started by stamping the heart image randomly on my card base and coloring them in.
I stamped the rose and leaves and fussy cut them out then adhered them to my card base on top of a messy ball of gold thread ( I seriously love the look of thread on my cards).  I added some shimmer to the images with my Wink of Stella glitter pen and it looks so pretty in person.  Lastly I  stamped the sentiment on vellum an adhered it to the card.

Would you like to win Love Grows?
This set will be given away to Two lucky winners!
Here's how to win:

First - super congrats on teaching a class at the new store! I'm envious - lessons from you and a neighbourhood store: WOW! Second, your decision to return to work full-time deserves applause; a hard decision, but a 'happy' you means happiness all around. Maybe the scrapbooking store....Third: your card is absolutely stunning! Little wonder you've been invited to teach! Impressive!

Love this card. I love the messy gold string! Every time I try to add "messy" string to my cards it looks really messy and not artsy like yours! Great work!
