A little card share and some thoughts...

I have a card to share today that I made for my grandmother and I am entering it into the pool for this weeks Simon Says Stamp Challenge Anything Goes! 

 

 I used the SSS June card kit stamp set for this one.  I just LOVE this stamp set.  I also really love the overall card design but... have you ever made a card and then looked at it and weren't completely happy with a few things about it but didn't want to start all over!?  That is the case with this one.  So rather than redo it I am just going to tell you what I would change, Lol.  First is the color that I stamped those leaves and the outline of them, its just not quite right..  Second is the sentiment, I love it but it blends to much with the background it doesn't stand out, however I would still want it black so I am thinking I should have heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  What do you think?  Enough of my rambling for today, thanks so much for stopping by!

I made a card!

Hello everyone!  I finally had some time to sit down and just make something.  So I decided to play along with the AE Challenge.

 

 

 

The challenge was to make Pattern Paper, (I don't have the graphic from the website due to the fact that my computer is acting up).  I used AE pigment ink in Mint to be, Fog and Orchid and I used the Build a Banner and Bottle it Up stamp sets.  Can I just say I LOVE these inks!  They are amazing:)  Well that is all for today...
